Bitumen waterproofing membranes without slate

For use as a basic hydro insulation of flat and inclined roofs as well as a medium layer when performing bitumen hydro insulation in the residential and public buildings.

The classic way of hydro insulation of roofs with bitumen is to apply to layers of bitumen membranes over the thermal insulation. The first layer consists of bitumen waterproofing membranes without slate, and the second layer – of bitumen waterproofing membranes with slate which are protected by the finely crushed stones. The two layers are torch-applied to one another throughout their whole area.

The hydro insulation bitumen membranes without slate which are provided by MARISAN are designed for use as a basic hydro insulation of flat and inclined roofs as well as a medium layer when performing bitumen hydro insulation in the residential and public buildings. By the means of the excellent elasticity in low temperatures and the high durability in elevated temperatures, the membranes guarantee security even when there are extremely high loadings. They are reliable even after many years.

  • Reinforced with fiberglass fabric

The fiberglass fabric reinforcement not only stabilizes the shape and dimensions of the membrane but also increases its strength, resistance to tearing and puncture.

  • Reinforced with polyester

Reinforcement with polyester leads to increased strength and expansibility of bitumen hydro insulation. It increases resistance to tear and puncture.

  • Reinforced with fiberglass veil

Fiberglass veil reinforcement provides shape and dimensional stability of the membrane and have an impact on membrane`s performance during fire.
