Scope of use

HYDROZOL® BP BITUMEN PASTE is plastic bitumen based filler  (paste)  for  renovating  and  repairing bitumen  and  tin roofs. The product is used for plastering and strengthening of constructive details and openings on the roofs (antennas, chimneys, pipes, vents, skylights and others). It could be used for hydro insulation of the connections between roofs and their  adjacent  walls.  The  paste  is  recommended  when repairing the cracks and the leaks of gutters. After drying up, it creates high elasticity water resistant coating which does not shrink and crack. 

The product is used for protection from moisture and repairing of leaks of the roofs in civil and industrial construction in temperature between -30°C and +100°C. A recommendable usage is for repairing and renovating old bituminous membranes. It strengthens the joints and stops the leakage between tin, bitumen and other types of roofing sheets and plates. The product is meant for filling the unevenness and cracks in concrete, asphalt, lead, zinc, steel, plasters and others.

HYDROZOL® BP BITUMEN PASTE adheres perfectly to surfaces which are dry and with a little bit moisture, to bituminous surfaces, to most of the building materials. It is effective even under water. It could be used for protection from undersoil moisture and water of vertical and horizontal surfaces, indoors and outdoors. 

The product is resistant to diluted acids, bases, industrial gases, salt and other aggressive surroundings. After drying up, it could be covered with asphalt, roofing membranes and other coverings for roof renovation.
