Scope of use

TERMOFLEX® SUPER STAR, WHITE is a specifically developed mortar of highest quality, designed for making plastering layer reinforced with fiberglass mesh on thermal insulation boards from  expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS) skinless.

The MS-polymers which the product contains enable the mortar to withstand very high loads. The synthetic and polymer fibers added in the mixture increase multiple times its elasticity as well as its adhesion to polystyrene and all kind of mineral bases. This makes TERMOFLEX® SUPER STAR, WHITE very suitable for plastering facade walls, which are subjected to high thermal loads, leading to large linear expansions and shrinkages.

The white colour of the mortar helps to reduce the consumption of paint when painting in light colours and also prevents the formation of dark marks in the deeper canals when the plaster is structured (it is mostly seen when making dragged structures). The formed plastering layer is highly water vapour permeable and resistant to freezing and sudden temperature changes. Its increased strength characteristics and hardness after drying increase the sustainability of the whole thermal insulation system to injuries, cracks and impacts.

TERMOFLEX® SUPER STAR, WHITE is an element of the integrated thermal insulation systems TERMOFLEX® CLASSIC and TERAPOR® ULTRA  and it is suitable for both newly build and old buildings – in the process of retrofitting or improving their insulation.
