Scope of use

TERMOFLEX®   SUPER  STAR  is  a  specifically  developed mortar of highest quality, designed for making plastering layer reinforced with fiberglass mesh on thermal insulation boards from expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS) skinless.

The  MS-polymers  which  the  product  contains  enable  the mortar to withstand very high loads. The synthetic and polymer fibers added in the mixture increase multiple times its elasticity as well as its adhesion to polystyrene and all kind of mineral bases. This makes TERMOFLEX® SUPER STAR very suitable for plastering facade walls, which are subjected to high thermal loads, leading to large linear expansions and shrinkages.

The mortar is highly water vapour permeable and resistant to freezing and sudden temperature changes. Its improved strength characteristics and hardness of the layer after drying increase the sustainability to injuries, cracks and impacts of the whole thermal insulation system.

TERMOFLEX® SUPER STAR is an element of the integrated thermal insulation systems TERMOFLEX® CLASSIC and TERAPOR®  ULTRA   and it is suitable for both newly build and old buildings – in the process of retrofitting or improving their insulation.
